Overview
The Dalmatian-Dalmatian-Split central region is one of the most important tourist sites in Croatia.
It is the second largest city in Croatia that extends around the Roman palace of Diocletian, on the banks of the Adriatic Sea.
Split has lived under the rule of Rome, Venice, Austria, France, Italy and Yugoslavia.
